Hi All:

I have just made a major update to the museum page, where I
believe each and every one of you will find something of
interest. I would like to thank all on the lists for their
assistance with advice and help finding items for the
museum.

Despite my bad health this year, we have managed to make
many updates and additions to the museum, including a new
combined workshop/office area, which made available a room
formerly used for the office in the building for display
space, and a new interactive display put in that area, and
telegraph items have been added to the museum entrance,
along with a 1930's model 15 teletype added to the
entrance-way/teletype area.

I have updated the museum page to finally reflect these
changes. You can view photos of these by scrolling halfway
down the page.

Thank you all for your help and assistance and for your
concern resulting from my health problems this spring. I
just wanted to let you know that despite my ill health, the
museum is still a going concern!

Still, I can only spend a few minutes at a time in the
museum, but it is a pleasure knowing that it is still very
much alive!

Looking real good Dave! The new workshop looks great and I'm sure that you appreciate the additional display space that you gained. I don't think that I knew that you had the BN4000 Payphone enclosure. They are a nice compact outdoor enclosure c/w illumination!

The ones we used here all had clear glass panels in the sides with a blue telephone handset logo printed onto the glass. The Expo 86 site in Vancouver had hundreds of these payphone enclosures complete with special "Expo 86" headers made for them by our shops.

Hi Terry:

Yep, I have had the BN for four years or so now. It is too bad I didn't have it plugged in when I took the photo! I don't know you you remember, but when I put the Millennium 2000 scam phone in it, I had to put some RFI suppression on the lamp in it as the lamp was interfering with the phone, a problem finally solved by better grounding between the phone and booth...

You will note, I did re-take that old tool display photo I had on there earlier in the morning so the Whistler AE test cabinet would show up in the shot.
