Hello,
I need to make an equivelent of a 205 rectifier for a 746 telephone. I have the following diodes to hand:

1N4748
P6KE16A
1N5344B (zener)

Does anyone know if any of those would be suitable?
Thanks a lot.

I'd recommend at least a 1N4002 (1amp, 100v), those diodes you have there are too low a voltage spec, plus the 1N4002 is cheap to buy in quantity and handy to have in the parts bin... :)

Agree with @twocvbloke - a pair of simple rectifier diodes is all you need. I've used 1N4004 before, but any of that series (bar the 1N4001 - voltage too low) will be fine.

Thanks a lot for your help, I'll get some 1N4002 then.
