AE40 ringer & gasket?

OK, back to my AE40 and its ringer.  D/P sent me a "new" ringer for it, and the new one has 4 wires - one from each coil (red and green) and 2 from the rectangular thing (black and white). 

The original ringer (54 Htz) has 6 wires -
dirt-color and light/dark dirt from the coils,
and then FOUR from the rectangle - brown, black, dirt and dirt/off-dirt-white.

before I move anything:
dirt goes to L2
light/dark dirt goes to 5
top 2 on rect. go to (can't see the label - opposite 5) and T
bottom 2 on rect. go to L1 and3

What do I do?

Looks like a WE condenser and a... fire alarm bell?

I'd sure hate to have that monster ring on the nightstand in the middle of the night, that's for sure.

I've never seen that before!  Does it look like a factory installed bell, D/P?  I find it really frustrating that AE didn't seem to date their phones anywhere, when we try to piece together their history.  On the other hand, it's kind of fun, because when you open them up, you never quite know what you might find.

The ringer is relatively soft.
It does appear original, but it's not like any I can find anywhere.
At Oldphoneworks they show he ringer below, and NO mention of different Freqs.

So I'm at a loss. Not a lot of information as far as internal photos. Can someone post a photo of the inside of an original AE40. The schematic is for two wire Metallic ring, and 3 wire for a ground ring. No mention of 4 wires.

I think the ringer I sent you is for the AE90, wall phone, the ringer at Oldphoneworks is different for the AE40 ?
I think you may be able to get it work, I don't know.
What was wrong with the ringer in the photos you sent. If it's the coils, maybe you could take them from the new ringer and put them onto your old one.

Here are a couple of photos of one of my AE 40's with a straight line ringer.

I would recommend against removing the coils from the ringer.  It most likely will effect the magnetic strength of the ringer.  I learned that the hard way with Western Electric ringers.  I'm pretty sure the same effect would occur with any ringer.  I'll work on posting a comprehensive study that my friend Jorge Amely did on the ringers.  But removing the coils can upset the apple cart.

Note: There are only two wires connected to the ringer.
