One of my friends I showed the video to noted that some of the people are rather large for that era, especially the policeman early on with the white gloves on.  We usually think of people from the past as being small, and perhaps many of us have seen old uniforms and clothes in museums that look like they were made for children but are really for adults.

I have read that the average height at the turn of the century (1900) was only 5' 6"
