The "brown" handset looks like it's really mocha.

Had I not recently acquired a 2554 with a handset, I would consider it.. (still looking for the mocha coiled cord, though).

I personally would have chosen a different handset color, other than black...

Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!

Makes one wonder why someone would do something like this . . .   and to an early '56 at that.

Was tempted to take this one home but I just don't have room for another project mutt . . .

I'll see your repulsive mismatch and raise you an eyesore . . .    No two parts of this phone have the same color.

You might note that the seller is the same one who shipped the wrong dial to Rick . . .

It's amusing to consider this desire to create art by encrusting it with things has a competitor in the animal kingdom that does equally beautiful work.  The Caddis Fly Larvae.

Found this one on Kijiji.

Hideous ! really :( . just removing the stickers and you'll have a nice one ...I hope it's just stickers. Otherwise, if it's craft painting, it's not easy to remove it.

EDIT : After seeing the link, it's hand painted  >:(
