I recently purchased a refurbished 1951 RCA Model 45 EY-3 record player which has prompted me to dig out my old 45's.  I stumbled upon one that will keep this from being in the "off-topic" section.  Back in 1984 after/during divestiture a comedy group released a song titled Breaking Up Is Hard On You.  This song was sung to the tune of Neil Sedaka's Breaking Up Is Hard To Do.  It received a lot of air play on the radio.  At the time perhaps it summed up the general feeling of the break-up of the phone company.  Enough so to cause me to go out and buy the 45.  It's pretty much been sitting dormant ever since.

I made a You-tube recording for those interested.  You can even watch the record spin as it plays. :)

How right were they about all that?
