I have a digital copy of Vol. 18, Issue 3, July 1939, article: "Plastic Materials in Telephone Use" - of the Bell Labs Technical Journal. It covers items of interest such as fillers and "layers" which have been subjects of Forum postings. Send me an email at: cihensley@aol.com  if you want a copy.

To accompany the BLTJ article, I have a digital copy of a 1945 patent granted to WECo the covers a method the chemically restoring eroded phenol (Bakelite) The patent discusses the impossibility of mechanically (buffing, etc.) restoring the sheen of eroded Bakelite. If you would like a copy, send me an email at: cihensley@aol.com
