Title: External DTMF pad Star Dynamic TA-955/PT (or even TA 977/PT)
Post by: dsk on November 03, 2017, 11:24:35 AM
After struggling for almost a year finding a seller willing to ship me one I finally got my touch pad. $ can live with $35
Putting in a 6V battery. (did not have time to buy the right one so I ripped out 4 cells from a 9V battery.
In the other end it comes out 2 wires, for the TA-955/PT it ends up on 2 terminals on a connector fitting the handset jack on a TA-312-PT and will be just connected across the transmitter in CB  position. If you choose the TA-977/PT it is 2 wire terminals who will be put in parallel with the entire operators telephone in the SB-22/PT field exchange. So far I just have connected it to 40 ohms loudspeaker,(60dB on at 1 meter) and it sounds pretty loud, and when I but the carbon transmitter on my AE 40 on the speaker the exchange understand every tone.

If anybody has some manuals or info about these, I would be happy.
