Transmitter in sad shape, but still works.

Another thread regarding metal 302s made me realize that I didn't have many shots of my metal non-dial "Western Union" 302.  As I was taking more shots of it for my pictorial inventory, I noticed it was matching dates except for the receiver element.  Then I noticed the transmitter was actually coming apart.  I swapped it out in a working 302, and by golly, it still works!  But still, I'll be looking for a 2-41 transmitter and receiver element for an F1.

The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

Yeah, this phone is wired in a weird way too, I'll start another thread about that.
