Here is another one, probably a "frankenphone".

This has to be made from parts.
The cords, and dial  are not original.
The cradle has black parts, and must be from a black phone.

The dial face is apparently covered with a sticker with normal numbering.  I have the same phone (http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=1899.15), and the dial face had a crumbled paper sticker over it when it arrived.

And notice the notch over the number 4 for when you turn the dial around to use it as a wall phone.
I don't know much about these type phones but this one looks like the real deal to me.
I can't imagine someone going through the trouble to do a frankenphone.
If they did, it turned out nice.

It looks quite well, the dial has always been plastic, and the the cradles has always had the same color as the phone.
