Most old digital clocks were mighty attractive.  They rose in popularity as people used to tell when their radio shows came on, the digitals reading more like the schedules.  They seemed to have given them all uber complex names.

The old digital clocks had the rolling numbers whereas the newer ones have the LED or LCD displays.  The newer  digital clocks have this annoying habit of flashing 12:00 when the power comes back on after an outage!
