Does anybody else do this?

I need to locate the thread with the numbers you can call to make your phone ring.  That way I don't have to pull my cell phone out of the drawer and turn it on.

Dan, I don't think I'll ever part with my 10/50 unless I find another 1950 dated one in similar shape (highly unlikely), since the one I have is in really nice original/unrestored condition.  So if you ever find one like it that's matching-dated 6/50 (I think we all agree that this is when serious 500 production got going) to 12/50, I just might swap you for it.

Yeah, I also will use the cell to ring up the house phones, bad habit. ;)

I'm convinced all my phones have their own distintive dial clicks, just haven't differentiated them yet!

My 3 WE 2 x 500, 1 x 554 all sound different, but Dennis explained that they probably have differing components, metal/plastic cogs etc, so that explains that.

I suppose all our machines have personalities of their own, some of mine are downright unco-operative, or argue with the others when they are forced to share a line with them...
