Someone here might be interested in this phone. Came across it searching Craigslist. It's located on Long Island. Good price.

Seller Description: "This is a very original Monophone, made by Automatic Electric Co. of Chicago. I say it is original because it still has the original "baseball card" at the center of the dial for the telephone number, the undisturbed felt bottom in great shape, and what appears to be the original handset cord (with one small tape spot).
This particular instrument is unusual in that it has a "Hold" button mounted in the base, and a small chromed button to the right/top of the base. I don't know what the latter is for.
I have no knowledge of the working condition and make no claims as to whether or not it would work if connected to an analog line, but it appears to be in excellent overall shape. "
That looks like a nice deal.

Someone bought it...likely one of us?
He was willing to ship it but only if it hadn't already been sold.
Terry
Yes, it was one of us. ;)
Going to the Roody AE Museum!
