Here is the view from my new fron porch, I forgot to check the view until we went back for the home inspection.

I just took the photo of Pikes Peak a few minutes ago.

There is a 740 acre park behind me   It is a 7 minute walk from my house.
I used to live 3 miles from the park. Now we are 1/2 mile. It is impossible to get lost in the park.

The park is Named Palmer Park and it is a mountain oasis in the middle of town. I try to walk 1 to 2-1/2 hours there a day.

Thanks George.
The funny thing is that I never worry about a view of Pikes Peak. There are many beautiful views of the peak from all around town (and throughout Palmer Park). The unusual  thing is that  typically you no longer have a great view of the Peak in a centrally located 57 year old home. It was quite the nice bonus.

Great view Jim!

I'm glad I got to enjoy the view from Pikes Peak when I was there last October:

It was also great to meet you at your old home. I'm hope you are getting settled at your new place.

Hey Jim,

It is fun to see our neighborhood represented on the forum!

Our house is actually in the photo you posted (it IS there, it is just too small to see)!

I look forward to meeting you in the near future.

Here is a photo we took one morning looking your direction...

Notice the deck furniture is lashed to the posts...it gets windy up here!
