The seller has not much knowledge about this grey telephone.
It is a Norwegian: Elektrisk Bureau model 1953. These were made in an exact number of 112 825 between 1963 and 1967. The dial numbering plate does not look original. Since the base is stamped O.T.A.  (Oslo telefonanlegg = Oslo telephone company) The dial should have been a reverse dial and an enameled plate.  The replacement could be an original repair part, looks equal to this from the Norwegan telemuseum: http://tinyurl.com/6syjr2y

Anyway not bad price, and probably better shipping than from here.

The dial plate is probably covered with a stick-on paper cover.  I have a couple of those and they look the same.  Is this phone gray plastic, or is it painted?  I have an ivory one and a black.

I have a soft spot for these kind of 'convertible' phones.

Does any one know of any others besides this one and the Stromberg Carlson and Leich models?
