Hello,
just got an AE1A. I have a 302 subset with 4 conductor wire going to my WE D1 just now, but, I'd like to hook it up to the AE1A.
I have looked at the diagrams, but, am unable to figure anything out. Here is my problem:
1) Looks like I need a 5 conductor wire to the subset?
2) I have a switch with just 2 wires coming from it, not the standard 4. I don't know why or what this means. I may have to get a new switch.
I think the phone I have was reconditioned, as it looks like a newer dial than what would have come with it, and it was all polished up. So, maybe the switch was made for a phone with a blank and no dial, but, I don't know enough about these things.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks,
ntophones.

Our newest Forum member Kleenax (Ray K) figured out how to do it and the circuit is in the TCI Library
< http://tinyurl.com/3chvdyq > but you are going to need two sets of contacts and 4 wires coming from the hookswitch.
