Yes it rings loud with a 0.47 uF capacitor, with a ren load slightly higer than a WE 2500. Approxematly like my WE 500.

That is a good hint, the ringer known as Fed Tele & Rad part/dwg #GH-1353-2  equal to Signal Corps stock No: 4B3672 may also look like that, but has a single coil with a hammer in center, and spring return. Resistance of 2555 ohms. I can not find any more about that, except for the pictures in this thread: http://tinyurl.com/z4hp5ma

It looks like impossible to get info about repair or tuning of this ringer, so I have at least done some measurements.
Since I use 25Hz as a reference the REN load will be about 25/20 of what it would be in a 20 Hz. In addition I will guess my measurements are within +/- 10%
