Where are you seeing the pictures?  He hasn't posted any.  I posted some of mine as an example.

If it's a standard 500, $30 is too much, given the two refurb dates.  When you have refurb dates, the original date on the bottom becomes meaningless.  Much of the phone could very well date from the 1970s.  I'm guessing it's not a 5302, because it would be odd for a 5302 to be refurbed twice.  A 5302 would probably have been replaced instead of refurbed.
