Hi all,

The old 302s had their footpads riveted to the base.  Is there a source for replacement rivets so the pads can be recovered and reinstalled on the base?  Otherwise, what DIY methods have you folks used to fix these up?  I guess they could be screwed back on.

Thanks,
Ed

Changing to screws would lower the value of an old 302.

Here is an example of recovered footpads with new rivets that match the original:

Key to doing this process to match the original is to roll the crimp for the rivets - not flatten them.  The rolled crimp takes a special tool.  Here is an example of a 500 riveted footpad with the rolled crimp:

Also unlike the screw-on 302 footpads and 500 riveted footpads, the 302 riveted did not have felt pads.
