Two Unpainted WE B1s

I have two B1s that are not painted. The cradles are the same color but the bases are not the same color. One has a 2AE and a Seamless E1. It has a lighter grey base.

The other has a #4 dial and a seamed E1 has a darker grey base.  The finger wheel and the cradle match perfectly in real light, the flash makes them look different.

The B1 is is my favorite WE set....Doug

It would be fun to know the history. Nice find. Did you or your better half find them?

Gary.... I have had these B1s for a long time. They were found at different times, both with really bad paint....but no corrosion. Some phones strip better than others, these guys the paint just melted off. Painted just bubbled up in a sheet and just peeled right off.

I was surprised that one base is so much darker than the other. I do like the look without them being painted....Doug

I agree with you Doug - the B mount is among the best WECo sets.
