I would never forget the Duck....

The Duck rules.....Does the ringer go....QUACK!! QUACK!!! ??

(please say yes)

Yes, I'm afraid it does. Quite loudly. And with every quack the eyes light up and flash too (red).

If I film it ringing quacking, will this site accept it as an attachment I wonder....   :)

Someone may be able to tell you if and how to embed a video in the site. The way I do it when needed, is to post it on You Tube and link it.

If you don't have a You Tube account, you really should have one.

Aw, thanks for asking :)     It has arrived, but I am not there to open the box.
I have a backlog going back quite a few weeks - some spares I really could do with right now, some GPO phones plus a dozen or so U.S. and Canadian phones all waiting for me.
I will post a photo asap.   :D

The shiny has arrived.  :)

Haven't had a chance to take a proper look at it yet but it has a nice tidy Ivory handset. Am looking forward to getting the polish out to see how well this comes up.  :D

do not polish the cradle the plating might wear through and it might be lacquered also

Pourme

Glad to see it has arrived! Reminds me of my shiny! Looking forward to more pics!

#84
As advised, no polish on the cradle. I just swiftly added a touch of gleam with a soft cloth. Came up well.
I did this one by hand. On the body I first used Brasso, then my favourite - Autosol (Chrome and Metal polish).
Polishing Paste #5 on the handset.

'Before' pic three posts above  ^

Very pleased. That's quite some reflection of the handset.   :)
