Having a D2 power supply unit, rather then the 28D1 means the box was probably built after 1981, unless it was swapped. But do these ever fail? The second issue of the 518-215-407 was published in June 1981 to announce the change, among other reasons.

Having at least Issue 15 line cards, lets you use them on many modern lines that have floating signal/ringing levels, such as ATAs and EMTAs for VoIP.

It even came with the mount for the ring generator! Do you have key sets already?

While I have a couple of the 400 series sets I don't have the newer ones.

Would you be interested in any Black 564/565 Rotary Keysets?

I am/was a central office guy so I don't know much about key systems. I plan to read the BSPs and other documents in the TCI Library on this system and then see what I'll get in the way of sets. Thanks.

I've got one of these! Great little unit.... simple to wire and compact! the practice to this unit is in the "Key Systems Service Manual" Volume II.  look it up for the details... the units worth over $200.00. oh yeh, and the 400 series phones will work on it just fine....(as long as they are wired for the 1A1 system)
