I know it's a fuel pump of some sort, but for what? I found it in the hedge after the landscaper trimmed it back.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

Yuk yuk, hardy har!  Somebody on my FB page said it was an oil fuel pump, which would make sense since we have oil heat.
