I don't listen to any pop after Disco and don't listen to much for country from after Urban Cowboy.

Tough question!  How about Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes by Edison Lighthouse.
Tom....good song, but you are way too young to remember this....Doug

Indeed, far too many choices.  One of my favorites is from Kai Winding, who was responsible for more albums than many other one-hit wonders, but had his one big hit, "More."  (pun intended)   ;)

Thanks for the "More" song--I remember it as a kid, but instrumentals are hard to find if you do not know the name precisely!

Briny, that's one I had forgotten about and a good one.  I saw that group perform that song (and a few others) in concert in Detroit back in 1970-something....about 1973.  Also on stage that day was a band called Black Oak Arkansas and Bad Company.  Ever hear of those bands?

Radar Love is a great song but I wouldn't call it a One Hit Wonder. Golden Earring also did Twilight Zone.
> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1sf2CzEq0w < I worked with a guy in the 80's that said when he was in the Army stationed in Germany that Golden Earring was the hottest group over there, and that he had 5 of their albums. Golden Earring was from The Netherlands.

I guess we should define what a hit is.  Is a hit anything that charted in the top 100?  If so The Marmalade has several songs to chart on the top 100.  Many more in the UK.

Dan/Panther

I always thought a hit was a number one song.
I would say at least top 10, but I think number one.

Yes, I remember them, 70s was when I was a 20-something.  I miss being a 20-something.  I also miss being a 30-40 something!  :'(

Shows you how long I haven't followed the rock scene.  The nine year gap between Radar Love and Twilight Zone is when they were being called a "one hit wonder" band.  That clip you linked to is perfect, has a rotary phone in it!  I even have the 1947 song they named the group after on an old 78 rpm somewhere.

Nine years is quite a gap between hits in the U.S. but during that time they were still big in Europe with 30 gold & platinum albums. > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Earring < It seems like whenever I hear Radar Love while driving I automatically start going faster.
