D-97464 telephone set, dated II 36

Base pan                                            1089? (outside, next to foot)       

Housing:                                            1089

D-97758 handset (ungrooved) with 2-piece transmitter cap and what appears to be a standard receiver cap

Both the handset cord and the mounting cord exit the same hole in the back of the housing

Handset cord:
Fabric jacket, rubber conductors             1388 (?)

5H dial dated II 41, obviously added later.

Ringer: undated                                     946 ?

It has a D-97730 handset dated IV 36,  with a D98399 receiver (part no. stamped on diaphragm).

A D-97730 handset, with a similar receiver and cap (with only one hole), is shown in the Oct., 2010, Singing Wires.
Neither of these D-97730 handsets has the type receiver shown on Paul's site.

That 302 went for almost 2 Grand, Makes me wonder what I could get for my 48-500 ?
