You may often buy the cord, shipping to Norway makes it expensive.

N. American telephones has an impressingly high quality, but the cords...
The cords are not as soft as we are used to in Norway, so re-covering, or just cover a suitable cord may be an alternative.

I have tested several cloths resource's, but now; This are the best so far.

The result are pretty convincing

I just covered a curled cord with cloth material.
Recurled it by wrapping it around an 8 mm bolt, putting it in the oven, heating to 100 deg C when 100 are reached. reducing the heat to 50 deg, and turn off after 10 min to let cool.

To get the hose on a straight cord are pretty easy, the curled are tricky.
I fasten the cureled cord on a tool for getting wires trough tubes.
The next trick are using some evaporating silicone spray, and the last is to have enough of the hose.
