Steve Hilsz just posted an item to the TCI list server that came from Dave Hunter of Prince Edward Island.

I would be interested to know if anyone has tried this.

Dave Hunter (Prince Edward Island) posted a web page about a product called "Evapo-Rust," which turned out to be amazing. Although Dave was using the product on a Teletypesetter, it's equally applicable to badly-rusted phone parts that you want to restore. Check this out:
