The winner of Auction Contest #281 is wds who with the 10th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of an even $248.00 giving him his 20th auction contest win. So, once again, our congratulations go out to wds for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

The phone was listed at $17.28  in a 7 day auction with no reserve and rose steadily over the 7 days to $158 with less than a half day to go. The phone increased to $191 until the last 13 seconds when 5 bids placed by 3 buyers (two of the with their first and only bids) bumped the phone up another $50. When the dust settled, it was s***c (948b ) who took the phone home good but somewhat low price based on contest guessing. It sold for $238.30. The auction saw 13 bidders placing 28 bids.
