The winner of Auction Contest #283 is Pourme, who with the 7th entry into the second chance contest offered the winning guess of $3,750.00 to give him his 4th win in our auction contests. So, once again, our congratulations go out to Pourme for his win and moving up one rung in the Contest Standings list.

The auction was a private listing so we don't know who took the phone home for $3,227.00. The phone, listed at $199 rose to $410 over the first 6 days of the auction. On the 7th day, at least two interested buyers went at it increasing the price to $3,227 with 8 hours to go. I watched it end expecting some last second snipes but none were placed. That has been seen before where the phone reaches the market price well before the end time and no snipes show up. The auction saw 7 bidders placing 22 bids.
