Strange Kellogg Push To Talk

I came across this Kellogg Redbar with a strange Push to Talk button. I have never seen one like this before.
Also this seller claims he stumbled on a hoard with hundreds of phones & thousands of parts. He only has a few listed.

The seller is on facebook, and has been posting there for months. There are a lot of real nice phones.

This is Kellogg's implementation of a party line hookswitch.

After making sure the line is free, the switch is activated to talk.

Nice condition phone. The handset looks like it's from an earlier Kellogg phone.
