Took a 99 Cent Gamble on a Type 21 AE Desk Set Ringer Box

Borrow a capacitor or 2 from your stash of 302 bases. Yellow and slate = 0.5 uF so you may need 2 in parallel to make 1.0.

David....thanks for all your help and patience!! There was another break in the wire to the cap I discovered when I removed the cap from the subset.

We are operational....great ring.  ;D

This is HEAVY!

A little paint loss on the very top that I will touch up. Very happy the way this turned out....Doug

I've tried denatured alcohol on paint like that to remove specks and etc. Softens it up so you can wipe it off.
Wear gloves, that's a must do.
It doesn't effect the finish, but removes the paint.
Do in small areas at a time.
