I'd seriously consider selling mine at that price! (It would leave me a small profit.) ;)

Doug: You may remember seeing mine during your last visit. It's been on display for many years. I find the Sterling cover (hand crafted by a jeweler) quite attractive. There are relatively few out there.

For some reason, this phone cover reminds me of the gaudy fancy facial tissue holder boxes in the late 1960s/early 70s that would often be found in home bathrooms.  The tissues would catch on the embellishments and be shredded when one tried to remove them.

My memory is not that good Paul. It looks better on a shelf with phones. The Dial center might be what is my issue with it. Is is gold or a Brass color. Can a regular retainer ring be put on it?...Doug
