Here's the handset. It seems that everything ,except the AE-34, that had this handset on it was called 32A14   stub

I picked up one on eBay for $55 delivered. First one I have ever seen with Bakelite in perfect condition. Bakelite just shines.

This is a Working Phone. Handset cord outer cloth is fraying but inside has no issue, no static rings conversation is loud and clear!

This is just an amazing phone...Doug

There was, originally, a PSTN version of the AE-32 that used the Type 38 style handset. They were no always a PAX telephone.
