Reminder - Please Shorten URL Links

I had no idea we had a URL adjuster on the site.

We do and I've been doing it for more than 5 years to prevent those long links which wrap around in a forum window from not working. It's easy to highlight everything from the ? after the item number to the end and hit the delete key. A lot easier to do it when posting than to have somebody go back in to modify it. I'm just getting tired of doing something that is nothing more than a simple courtesy to all members by the posting member.

The problem is, WHAT exactly is a BB link.

BB Link I think is "BlackBerry Link" and if so, I found this, if you are using Win10 (and I don't know what it means)

"WINDOWS DEFENDER SECURITY (found in the Control Panel) is included as a part of Windows 10 and is turned on BY DEFAULT.. it may be blocking BB Link from installing. When the link install screen appears on your desktop, directions tell you to disable antivirus and security software before trying to install BB LINK."

Google "BB Link" for a lot of help if you have a problem with it.

In the spirit of the forum the preferred link should be with descriptor. Short form (# only) is still preferred over the full (+ garbage) link.
