A friend gave me her AE-40 to restore.  I am having trouble matching up the wires from the diagram to the wires on the phone.

1) Which wires from the condenser go to R C T respectively.  I have black and brown, black and white, and green and white that are loose.

2) How do the mounting cord wires attach?  I am using a House of Telephones 3-cond replacement cord.

Thanks,
Greg

Hopefully question #1 will be resolved when this arrives:

Note: S&H was only $10.95.  Another nice way to scare off potential bidders!!!

Greg, this diagram shows the wiring fairly well:

What do you mean shipping was only $10.95? I see $12+ for shipping. You got that phone at a good price.

Thanks,

I already have that wiring schematic but the wires in the phone don't match up to the wires on the diagram.

Bidding stayed low because the buyer had a $22.15 S&H charge listed.  I e-mailed her and asked if she could do Flat-Rate and she agreed but didn't adjust the price on her auction.  No one is going to pay $22 S&H for that phone on principle, so that cut out some of the competition.
