While I don't like the look of many phones by Automatic Electric, the 40 has an interesting charm to it.
Yes, it seems like a very good price. AE 40 prices seem to have skyrocketed, there is a thread here about them and a decent one could not be located south of about $90.00 IIRC. The steel plungers indicate an older one also. Nice find ;D
Looks like a great deal, they are super cool, especially with the chrome bands.
