Matt, what's this mess about you selling your property? I hope you're kidding.

I am not sadly not kidding. I think I really may have to sell my home. It's an idyllic sunny quiet acre on a gentle southwest slope with two houses (late 1940s) near Mendocino, bordering the forest. It's an ideal location near a wonderful small town.

I'm trying to rent the houses out and live in my big nice old trailer (no trailer trash jokes please  ) and hold on here, but it's hard. I hope to maybe sell the property to a friend or relative and stay on here as a caretaker/handyman.

You heard it here first.

43° F in Connecticut this morning.

We were 40 degrees F this morning here in central California.  Crazy, were just a week ago we were over a hundred.  The furnace kicked on this morning for the first time this year, and all the classrooms at school had the heaters running as well.  Probably won't last.

Gee Matt, that's sad news about your house.   Loverly area up there folks if anyone wants to live in a very pretty place.

It has to be a very hopeless feeling to worry about losing your home.
