I've read some posts where a 307 phone was converted to common battery? Why? 302 are so common. So get yourself a 302 instead.

Now, here is what I intend to do with my 307 phones. Wire them like they should be for local battery, hang mgnetos on them, and now, I have a in house phone system.

Bench test was successful. Once I replace the cords, good to go.

I'll take your un loved 307's.  ;)

Mine is an H13. Most I've seen have the plaque for the lift handset, mine is right in the phone. It one of the cooler WE variants....Doug

souds good! the reason why I like the 307 is because of it convertability. if you ever have to go from LB to CB, you can go back! with a 302, you don't have the extra wiring to reconfigure the phone. but, on the other hand.... if you want to rewire a 302 to LB I'm sure it could be done!  John
