How many parts in a 2500?

This was posted by Steve Cichorsky in the TCI forum earlier today.  I thought it was interesting and would also be appreciated here.

It is a PDF file that you will need to open, and it shows the number of parts used in the 2500.  It is not quite as interesting as the animated version they used to depict the number of parts in the 302.

When you look at the phone, I bet you hardly anyone would come close to the number of parts. we should of had it as our contest.

I would not have guessed that many in the whole phone let alone just the dial! That number was substantially higher than I guessed.

Yer, and its usually part 752 that we end up looking for to get a set to work no doubt! LOL

It's amazing how complex things are, even stuff that seems pretty "simple" like an old WE 2500 phone is seemingly loaded with parts. 

Wonder how many parts are in a new car?
