British Telecom 95A Mk II jack

Hello again folks-

I've got another in what'll probably be a series of "weird questions I can't figure out on my own".  I have a GPO 735 coin phone, which has a 420 Plug on the end of its lead.  A proper jack for this plug is the 95A, and I have one, specifically the Mk II version that has the dotted T logo from British Telecom on the (snap-on) cover.  OK, screw it to the wall in two places, no problem.  But where do I run the station wire into this thing?  Looking at http://www.telephonesuk.co.uk on the bottom of the Line Jacks page, I see my exact jack.  There are no other places to run a wire into it than the two screw holes.  The original screw-cover 95A to the left on the page seems to have an extra rough hole on the right.  Is this what I'm expected to do to use one of these, knock another hole in it?

Looking at the pictures here:

it does appear that you have to poke a hole into the base to pass the wires through to connect it up, if you're careful enough, you could probably drill a neat hole into the side to push a surface-mounted phone cable through into the jack, thus preventing the risk of breaking the base while trying to punch out a hole...

Thanks, that's the same picture as on telephonesuk; I had figured I'd probably be knocking a hole in the base to run the wire to it, but it seemed so... unprofessional to do so :-)  It'll be used with concealed wire, behind one of my plywood phone walls (this one's my payphone and outdoor phone collection wall in the living room :-)
