Title: Barn Sale Find
Post by: Doug Rose on October 13, 2018, 01:11:12 PM
Jan & her Sister up from Fla hit a few yard sales on yet another rainy/cold day in Boston. This was a barn and the phone she found was filthy...years uncovered in the Barn

Its a WE 304 dated 10/38,,,,EIGHTY years old. Original paint is just superb with a little chipping in the cradle. Line cord was falling apart so I put a new modular line cord on it. I usually have a tough time with a 304, but with all the wire in place, it was a stare and compare and just move the red ringer wire to L1.....ring!

Beautiful 4H dial....inside is like new. Except for the cradle chipping this is in excellent shape. Original dial card....She done good at $15...Doug

What is the date on the 4HA dial?

It would probably work better without the (ringer?) wire on M. Just put the slate-red and slate ringer wires together on a spare terminal.
