My area is loaded with thrift stores, we are a pretty poor area and so they are big business.  Records of all sorts are common and cheap, from pre WW2 78s to 1980's vinyl.  Recently bought a whole bunch of Herb Alpert's stuff, all marked as being property of a "M Hume" from Toronto Canada.  All in perfect shape and only a buck each.
