Here's a early AE 183 that is manually compensated and came with chrome finger wheel and escutcheon . Date  2-61-16 .       stub

Wow, Stubb!  It looks new!  When were these first introduced?

My rationale to buy another phone is to get a birthday phone.  March, 1960.  Is that even possible?

        Thanks. AE_Collector has one from 1960 . AE didn't do a great job of putting dates on their phones .  stub
