Larry pointed this one out to me yesterday, but the seller wouldn't answer any questions.  Picture wasn't good enough for me to gamble $500.  I was wondering if that subset was the correct one for this phone.

I saw it probably minutes after it was posted.  I figured that it was a rare one and would go quickly, but $500 is out of my budget.

$500 seems high for a doughnut phone. $300 -$350 is more reasonable.

I had always wanted a Doughnut phone. Once I finally got one it wasn't near as fun as it was looking for one. I eventually sold it.

I have never seen one with the proper subset, but my guess is the subset should be a candlestick variety. Just a guess tho.

I am wrong on the subset see the next posting for the proper subset.

Being so rare, and for posterity, here are the photos of this Type 131 Subset for the Model 130 Donut phone from the eBay listing.

Sold for $569 with 14 bids plus $13 shipping in August of 2012.

And guess what! The Donut Phone still works according to the listing. I guess they plugged it in to try it.
