Here are a couple of Ericsson phones i picked up recently. I had to make a crank for the B2 set but it works. The B2 had the original cloth handset cord but the wiring inside had been cut (I heard they cut the wiring so they couldn't be used again). It even had a tool to remove the handset mouthpiece,  wrapped in paper inside the phone.I have hooked them up and they work great. I can ring one phone from the other when I crank it. Anyone else got any of these phone? They were called an Alberta special.

Aren't these such beauties!

Very nice.  They remind me of the Ericsson 1951 desk sets with the "wings" holding the handset. Prettier even than the true model 1951 wall telephones, pictured here:

I think one can see the design lineage from the DBH-1001 of 1931, shown in this post by Matilo.

Here are a few things to go along with the Ericsson N2907B2..the tool to remove the mouthpiece, found tucked inside the phone.. and in the last photo a different mouthpiece that a fellow collector gave me.. any idea what it is off of??

The mouthpiece has a shape familiar to me, and reminds me of the ones used in Sweden and Norway from they started with bakelite, to 195x.

The casing is more like the wall version of the DBH1001. See picture below.

The DBH1001 was redesigned in 1947, giving it softer lines. It resulted in the wall phone posted by Unbeldi, but with a different handset.

That 1947 handset is more like the one on the Alberta Special. Although the ones I have do not require a special tool.

I'll see if I can find a good picture of that 1947 handset.

Here are the pictures of that handset.

Didn't Ericsson UK redesign that wall phone housing to make their own version? That looks very much like the phone posted by tipnring
