Here's a thought. Now, I realize that the flash of a camera can distort colors but these images seem to point to this being a light blue plastic uniformly discolored over time to green.

Note:

1) handset cord is more blue than green
2) the chrome band on the transmitter cup shows a light blue underneath it
3) the color of all the internals (wires, dial, etc. look good) except for the black vent screen so is the inside the true color, light blue

Did AE make a light blue?

They had an Orchid that turned light blue? Did they have a light blue that turned green?

Without having the phone in hand to compare the inside to the outside, relying on the sellers lighting and camera settings makes this curious.

When I viewed the listing images I also thought I could see blue.
🤔

This thread from 2021 showing wds's  then find of another blue/green AE40 is a good read - with photos.

I also think it's a light blue one that has faded to green, as the insides almost invariably show the original colour. The buyer may be rather disappointed I suspect.
