The two digits in the circle are the last two digits of the year molded.

My guess is that "22F" identifies the mold it came out of, in case there were quality issues.

I had thought the circle was a sort of time clock indicator similar to what is on a lot of auto parts. I also thought the other number was a color code.

None of the codes I've seen there matched the color code for the set.  Many are alphabetic.

I've seen the circle ID, the 22-f just threw me. Never seen one printed along the edge like that , most are up by the handhold area.

Mine doesn't have that "clock" thing though...  I looked for it but didn't see it.

If it has ink stamps, it won't have the "clock".  The "clock" replaced ink stamps on the plastics.

Kenny;
If you travel in  a straight line from Avalon Bay on Santa Catalina Island, for 26 miles, you end up right in the middle of the Long Beach Naval Complex. I wonder if the song was written by a lonely sailor ? "The Island of Romance"... On clear days you can see the island from the Naval Complex.

I just love the song by the four preps. Almost as much as I like Papa Loves Mambo by Perry Como

Did I miss something, or was this a response to a different post???

HarrySmith

I was wondering the same thing ???
I was prepared to ignore it for now and see if an explanation would be forthcoming :)
