I found a beauty at Brimfield this week and am planning on cleaning it up tomorrow. I am curious if anyone knows the history of them. A few weeks ago one went high on eBay, but I lost the auction. Any info is greatly appreciated. Better pictures tomorrow...Doug

Wow! It doesn't look like the same phone.  You deserve a few beers and I will have some in your honour.

These transmitter date from the time when ABT was putting serial numbers on everything.  It's a little odd to find one on a later drawn perch type phone.  I usually associate these with earlier candlestick types like the TYPE 22 or 20-B.
