Both of those BSPs were from a recently acquired 4-volume set from the estate of a retired Southern Bell installer/repairman.

Congrads!  Don't know about phones, but in researching antique fountain pens over the years, a collection of docs like that would be very valuable resource.

Unbeldi, thanks for "C14" reference.  Think I'm beginning to catch on.  "C14" = public relations; "C37" = misc. apparatus (source: paul-f_com.)

Find "C36" if interested in cords / plugs from that the time?  Example: they'd have used a square 283B plug on these rather than round 505A type.  (Chart from 1969 seems to indicate either, or perhaps 505A replaced 283B. 

Currently browsing large 899 page PDF from New England Telephone, June 1969.  Take quite a while to create index for all that as go into 'study' mode for a while.
