Princess Phone Dial Light

Sorry if this is a duplicate or commonly asked question, I poked around but couldn't find an obvious answer.  Does the dial light on a WE Princess (702B) light during ringing? Or is it only in night light mode or off-hook?  Thanks!

Normally used only for dial lamp/night light.

Could probably be rewired for use with 1A2 key system where lamp would light up when any phone on same line as the Princess set is off hook (steady light), ringing (flashing light), or on hold (winking light). No night light if wired this way, and a resistor needed to drop the 10 VAC from key system to 7 VAC).

Thanks Poplar. I struggled with the light most of the day and finally had success, but then thought I remembered light during ringing.. Glad I was just having another senior moment!
